DailyMale is a mobile clinic designed to offer free men’s health screening (prostate cancer and cardiovascular disease) for the underserved men of Bermuda (up to 12% uninsured).
We started in February 2023 and to date, over 150 men have received health screening in Bermuda. Our feedback surveys demonstrated that 99% of men were satisfied with their experience and wanted DailyMale permanently available. We have over 80 volunteers made up of local community leaders, health care professionals, and prostate cancer survivors.
We aim to identify a percentage of high-risk men that will need to be assessed for prostate cancer or poor cardiovascular health and offer early diagnostics and treatment. This will prevent the spiraling costs of managing metastatic prostate cancer and heart failure, prevent premature mortality, and improve awareness among men in Bermuda. From our efforts, up to 6% of our clinic visitors have been diagnosed with cancer and are currently being treated.

Screening Van
To increase health access, remain cost-effective, improve health outcomes, and bridge healthcare to the community, we are raising funds to purchase Bermuda’s first screening van. As we are centered around collaboration, our van can be utilized by other local charities and health organizations for other medical screening activities.
A health screening van will not only provide free point-of-care testing to the underserved but play a key role in improving the health of future generations.

Medical Supplies
We are raising funds to purchase medical supplies for our clinics. These supplies include: psa tests, psa machines, blood pressure monitors, height measurement equipment, face masks, aprons, gloves, sanitizer, tissues, trash bags, fridges, sample vials, wipes, waste bins and more.
We are expecting an attendance increase (from 20-30 men per clinic) to a minimum of 50 men per clinic. As we progress as a charity we aim to screen over 300 men per year.

Health Education
Our first panel discussion was held at Blue Waters Anglers’ Club on March 23rd 2023, and attracted over 70 attendees from the Bermuda community.We would like to raise funds to continue providing free health discussions, mentoring, social support, and additional education events on prostate and cardiovascular health. Our goal is to reach every man in Bermuda, and help them lead healthier and longer lives. Funds will contribute to marketing/promotion, venue, refreshments, training courses and more. We also serve as a training ground for student nurses, doctors, and phlebotomists to gain firsthand experience in the medical field and provide community service hours.
